It was comforting to have that store close by. Fresh and Natural seems to be a leader in helping people with Celiac here in Minnesota. The Bloomington store and employees are missed. Hopefully, your other sources are as knowledgeable and friendly.

A real blow because my wife was recently diagnosed celiac in the last month and a half so it was a comfort to have a place like this literally walking distance from the house. I had wondered if something like this might be happening since the last few times in it seemed as if there wasn't a lot of things on hand that you would normally find in a grocer (lemons for one). I dropped by tonight to see the sign in the window that basically explains the economy had made it difficult to thrive and the fact that the City of Bloomington hadn't really taken to the store as in their Shoreview and Hudson locations. I do a lot of driving for my job as an IT Administrator and I saw that the Shoreview store not only looks larger but had a lot of people in the store in the middle of the morning, when I'd go by the Bloomington store it was sparsely visited.. I suspect the co-op/healthy eating crowd make up a minority of Bloomington residents. Another south Metro destination for this type of thing would be Valley Natural foods in Burnsville or we'll simply go to the Wedge. What a sad situation and they did such a nice makeover of the store too. I wonder what's going to happen to that mall now? With the grocer gone, the video
store gone and the CD store long vacated it kind of makes that location ripe for redevelopment. We'll have to see what happens now.
